There is something magical about Christmas. The warmth of candlelight, the glow of evergreen trees, the comfort of festive music, and the feeling that for one beautiful evening, the world becomes a little brighter.
That is the heart behind Timeless Homeschool Events’ Yule Ball.
Now entering its third year, Yule Ball has become one of our most beloved traditions, a carefully crafted winter formal designed for high school homeschool teens and their guests, where elegance meets wonder in a setting inspired by the enchantment of the wizarding world.
This year, Yule Ball arrives at its new home at Ingalls Harbor Pavilion on December 5, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, where we will once again transform an ordinary venue into something extraordinary.
Guests begin their evening at King’s Cross, then step into Hogsmeade, where a cozy Christmas village awaits, filled with warm lights, festive décor, sweet treats, hidden surprises, and magical shops to explore. Wander through Ollivanders, visit the broom shop, discover treasures tucked away in unexpected corners, pull a mandrake from the earth, hunt for the Book of Monsters, enjoy popcorn and sweets from Honeydukes, and stop by our beloved Butterbeer station for a Timeless favorite.
Beyond Hogsmeade, guests enter our version of the Great Hall, a warm and elegant winter feast dressed in evergreen, candlelight, glowing Christmas trees, and beautifully decorated house tables celebrating Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin. Formal gowns, dress robes, and house colors are all part of the magic, inviting teens to fully step into the spirit of the evening.
A festive buffet is served during the first part of the night, featuring roasted turkey, roast, potatoes, carrots, green beans, penne pasta, rice, desserts, candies, and holiday favorites, with drinks and light snacks available throughout the evening. Christmas music fills the hall alongside favorite requested songs, blending timeless holiday warmth with celebration and fun.
We intentionally keep Yule Ball limited in number, so that every detail feels special, immersive, and thoughtfully curated.

A New Home for the Magic
For two beautiful years, Timeless Yule Ball called our Huntsville home venue, The Roundhouse, the setting for unforgettable winter evenings filled with warmth, wonder, and magical memories. We are deeply grateful for the space, the history, and the many moments shared there.
At this time, The Roundhouse is stepping away from public event rentals as the space is reimagined into something new for the Huntsville community. While we are sad to see that chapter pause, we are thankful for everything that venue gave Timeless and the families we serve.
As one chapter closes, another begins.
Beginning in 2026, Yule Ball moves to its new home at Ingalls Harbor Pavilion.
This exciting new venue gives us something truly special: more room to imagine, more room to create, and more room to bring the wizarding world to life in even bigger ways.
With expanded space, new design possibilities, and room for larger immersive environments, our team now has the opportunity to build a richer Hogsmeade, a grander Great Hall, and magical touches throughout the evening that simply were not possible before.
Yule Ball will still hold everything families have come to love: cozy Christmas warmth, festive feasting, magical discovery, elegant celebration, and the feeling of stepping into another world for one unforgettable night.
Only now, the magic has room to grow.
Dress for the Ball
Part of the magic of Yule Ball is stepping into the spirit of the evening.
Guests are encouraged to dress in formal attire worthy of a winter ball. Elegant gowns, suits, tuxedos, and formal dress robes are all welcome. The only dress requirement is that attire be formal. House inspired dress, robes, colors, and accessories are completely optional, but many guests enjoy embracing the spirit of the evening in that way.
Many guests choose to represent Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, or Slytherin through house colors, scarves, ties, accessories, and beautifully styled formalwear.
Whether you arrive in deep emerald velvet, rich crimson satin, midnight blue elegance, or warm golden tones, the evening becomes even more magical when each guest brings their own house spirit to life.

Guest Capacity
Unlike our larger Prom and Fall Dance events, Yule Ball is intentionally kept at much lower attendance numbers to preserve the intimate, cozy, and immersive nature of the evening. This allows guests to fully experience the magic of the event in a setting that feels warm, thoughtful, and personal.
Who May Attend
Yule Ball is open to teens ages 13 through 19, generally covering grades 8 through 12, along with their invited guests.
While most Timeless Huntsville chapter events begin at high school age, Yule Ball is our one special exception that welcomes 13 year olds into the experience. We believe younger teens bring something truly magical to this evening. Their excitement, imagination, and sense of wonder beautifully reflect the very heart of what Yule Ball is meant to be.
We also warmly welcome teens who may not otherwise have access to milestone events through traditional settings, including private school students, virtual learners, and others attending through a homeschool connection.
Parent Volunteers
If you are a parent and would like to volunteer at Yule Ball, we would love to have your help. Parent volunteers play an important role in making Timeless events safe, welcoming, and memorable for our teens.

Prohibited Items
Weapons, vapes, cigarettes, alcohol, illegal drugs, or any prohibited substances are strictly forbidden.
Guests carrying personal safety items such as mace or small pocket knives must check them at the Help Table upon arrival and may retrieve them at the conclusion of the event.
Dance Floor Expectations
For guest safety, the following are not permitted:
• Mosh pit style dancing
• Flips, backflips, or acrobatics
• Climbing on shoulders
• Roughhousing or unsafe physical play
Respectful Conduct
We expect kindness, maturity, and respect from all guests.
The following are not permitted:
• Fighting, verbal or physical
• Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or discrimination
• Physical assault of any kind
• Public displays of affection
• Blocking walkways, exits, or gathering points
• Littering or disrespect of the venue
Failure to follow event guidelines may result in immediate removal without refund and may affect eligibility for future Timeless events.
Event Expectations
To help create a magical evening for everyone, we simply ask all guests to:
• Be respectful to fellow attendees, volunteers, staff, and venue property
• Use kind words and thoughtful behavior throughout the evening
• Keep hands to yourself and avoid roughhousing or unsafe behavior
• Help keep the venue clean by disposing of trash properly
• Follow directions from Timeless staff, volunteers, and security when needed
• Most importantly, come ready to celebrate, make memories, and enjoy the magic of the night

Event Boundaries
Once admitted, guests are expected to remain within designated event areas.
If a guest needs to return to their vehicle, a chaperone or security escort may be required if available.
There is no reentry once a guest leaves the event.
Refund Policy
Tickets are non refundable!
Because Timeless Homeschool Events is a nonprofit organization, every ticket purchased is used to directly fund the experience itself, including venue rental, food, décor, entertainment, supplies, staffing needs, and the many thoughtful details that bring Yule Ball to life.
In order to create immersive events at a reasonable ticket price, we begin making financial commitments well in advance based on expected attendance. Once tickets are purchased, those funds are immediately allocated toward event planning and preparation, making refunds unavailable.
We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise, and while tickets are non refundable, families may be able to transfer a ticket to another eligible attendee if arranged in advance and approved by Timeless.
We appreciate your understanding and your support, which helps make these magical experiences possible for homeschool families across our community.
Safety & Security
At Timeless, the safety of our guests is always our highest priority. Yule Ball is a carefully supervised event supported by parent volunteers, event staff, and on site security measures designed to create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone attending.
For Yule Ball 2026, Decatur Police Department officers will be present on site throughout the evening to help ensure guest safety and support a secure event environment.
For the protection of all attendees:
• Guests may be subject to bag or purse checks upon entry
• Guests may be subject to security wand screening before admission
• Weapons of any kind are prohibited
We understand some guests may carry personal safety items such as mace or a small pocket knife. These items may be checked at the Security Table upon arrival and safely retrieved at the conclusion of the event.
Vapes, cigarettes, alcohol, illegal substances, and prohibited items are strictly forbidden.
Our goal is simple: to provide a magical evening where teens can celebrate freely, and parents can feel confident knowing thoughtful safety measures are in place.
