Light Up the Night

Every fall, homeschool teens from across North Alabama gather for one unforgettable night to light up the night, surrounded by music, glowing color, and an atmosphere created just for them.

For many, The Fall Dance has become a homecoming-style tradition, a night for homeschoolers and their friends to gather, connect, celebrate the season, and make memories that last long after the lights go down.

This is where autumn comes alive in neon.

A New Chapter for Fall Dance

The Fall Dance has grown and changed over the years, right alongside the homeschool community it serves.

Years ago, Fall Dance was held indoors at Lincoln Mill, where it became a much-loved gathering place for homeschool teens. As Timeless continued to grow, the event eventually outgrew that space.

During COVID, Fall Dance found a new home outdoors at Huntsville Botanical Garden, and something special happened. Students loved the open-air atmosphere. Volunteers loved it too. Under the lights, surrounded by crisp autumn evenings and fresh air, Fall Dance took on a whole new energy and became a tradition many families looked forward to each year.

We have been incredibly fortunate with beautiful weather along the way, but as Fall Dance continues to grow, weather uncertainty and increasing attendance made it clear that it was time to find a space that could offer both flexibility and room for the future.

That next chapter is now at Ingalls Harbor Pavilion.

With spacious indoor gathering areas, beautiful outdoor social spaces, a fireplace patio, waterfront surroundings, convenient parking, and nearby lodging for families traveling in from a distance at Home2 Suites by Hilton Decatur Ingalls Harbor, Fall Dance can preserve everything attendees enjoy while creating room for exciting new additions, rain or shine.

The venue may change, but the heart of Fall Dance remains the same, music, friendship, glow, and memories that last long after the lights go down.

NEW!!! Event Policies, Capacity & Security

At Timeless, our goal has always been to create events that feel safe, elevated, and genuinely enjoyable for the students who attend.

Following our most recent prom, our team carefully reviewed both evenings. While one night reflected everything we strive for, the other revealed rule violations, unsafe behavior, and situations that created real safety and liability concerns.

We want to be clear about something important:

Fall Dance has always had a strong, respectful crowd, and we fully intend to keep it that way.

What occurred was not representative of the majority of our students. However, it only takes a small number of individuals pushing boundaries to put the entire experience at risk for everyone else.

Because of this, we are making necessary changes moving forward.

We understand that with these changes, tickets may sell out more quickly and not everyone who wishes to attend will be able to. We sincerely apologize for that.

However, protecting the safety of our students and preserving the integrity of Timeless must come first.

All policies below are non-negotiable and will be enforced.

Identification & Ticket Verification

All tickets are tied to the individual attendee.

  • A recent photo/headshot or Valid ID is required during registration

  • Transferable only through TicketSpice’s official transfer system. When a transfer is initiated, the original ticket is canceled and a brand-new ticket is issued under the new attendee’s name, information, and verified headshot. Every ticket is tied to one identity only and may only be used by the person officially registered to that ticket.

  • Names must match registration

If identity cannot be verified, entry will be denied.

Bag Policy (Strictly Enforced)

To maintain a safe and efficient entry process:

  • No large bags or purses are allowed

  • This includes backpacks, totes, and oversized handbags

  • You may bring:

    • A small clutch

    • A small purse only

All other items must be left at home or in your vehicle

This is non-negotiable. Please do not ask for exceptions.

Capacity Limits

Fall Dance will operate under a reduced and controlled capacity.

  • Once tickets are sold out, no additional tickets will be released

  • If cancellations occur, a limited number of tickets may become available

  • Any released tickets will not be offered until approximately one week before the event, if at all

Capacity is firm and will not be expanded.

Security Presence

Timeless is implementing enhanced security measures for this event:

  • A professional, paid security team will be inside the venue

  • Decatur Police Department will be present outside and making rounds in and around the venue

  • Entry points will be monitored at all times

  • Bag checks will be conducted

  • Security cameras may be in use in common areas

Conduct Expectations

This is a private event, and attendance is a privilege.

The following will result in immediate removal without refund and banned from all Timeless Events:

  • Disruptive or unsafe behavior

  • Attempting to bring prohibited items

  • Attempting to enter under a false name or with someone else’s ticket

  • Leaving and attempting to re-enter without approval

  • Any behavior that compromises the safety or experience of others

  • Parents/guardians may be contacted, and restrictions from future events may apply.

  • No backflips, front flips, or any type of flipping. No crowd surfing. These behaviors are not allowed “I didn’t know” will not be accepted. Violations will result in immediate removal without warning.

To our attendees,

Things are changing.

And we want to be honest with you. This is not because we suddenly do not trust you or because we are trying to be strict for no reason.

It is because it only takes a small group to ruin something for everyone.

And we are not going to let that happen.

We know some of the new rules might feel like, “Wow, this is a lot.”

We understand that. We really do.

But our goal has not changed.

We want you to have a place where you can come, have fun, be with your friends, and not have to deal with drama, chaos, or anything unsafe.

The truth is, if you are coming for the right reasons, none of this will actually affect your night.

But it will stop the things that were starting to take away from the experience.

Refund Policy

Please make sure you can attend before purchasing your ticket. Timeless Homeschool Events has a strict no-refund policy, with no exceptions.

Ticket purchases are used to fund the event itself, including venue rental, DJ and lighting, food, decorations, security, police presence, staffing needs, and other event expenses required to host a safe and memorable experience for our attendees.

Timeless is a nonprofit organization, and event funds are used directly to pay event costs. We do not hold excess funds in reserve to cover refunded tickets after expenses have already been committed.

For that reason, last-minute cancellations, changes in plans, or personal scheduling conflicts cannot result in a refund.

When you purchase a ticket, you are reserving your place at the event and helping fund the many expenses required to make Fall Dance possible for the entire community.

Please purchase tickets only if you are certain you can attend, as there will be no refunds, no credits, and no exceptions.

Parent Volunteers

Timeless events are made possible through parent volunteers.

From check-in and food service to event support and supervision, volunteers help make nights like Fall Dance possible.

Parents interested in volunteering may contact:

Safety & Security

Student safety is a top priority at Timeless Homeschool Events. We work hard to create an environment where teens can enjoy the evening in a fun, welcoming, and well-supervised setting.

  • firearms

  • knives

  • pepper spray / mace

  • any item deemed a weapon by event security or law enforcement

Any attendee found in possession of a prohibited item may be denied entry, removed from the event, and may be prohibited from attending future Timeless events.

We understand that some teens may carry pocket knives or pepper spray for personal safety while traveling to and from the venue. If you bring these items, they must be checked with security before entering. A secure check-in bin with labeled plastic bags will be available at entry, and checked items may be picked up from security when the event concludes.

Any attendee found in possession of prohibited items inside the event may be removed from the dance and may be prohibited from attending future Timeless events.

Zero Tolerance Policy

Timeless maintains a zero tolerance policy for:

  • Alcohol

  • Illegal drugs

  • Smoking or vaping

  • Fighting

  • Harassment

  • Unsafe or disruptive behavior

Zero tolerance means there are no second chances.
If a rule is broken, action will be taken immediately. This is a one and done policy.

Students who violate these rules will be removed from the event immediately. Parents or guardians will be contacted, and no refunds will be issued.

Any incidents involving alcohol or illegal substances will be handled in coordination with on-site law enforcement.

Serious violations will result in a ban from all future Timeless events.
